Former Pakistan National Cricket Team leg-spinner Danish Kaneria was not impressed with the performance of the India National Cricket Team left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the 4th innings of the Chattogram Test match against Bangladesh National Cricket Team.
Kuldeep Yadav, who is playing Test cricket for India after 22 long months, delivered an amazing all-round performance in his comeback game against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

He bagged a 5-wicket haul in the second innings of the match by dismissing Shakib Al Hasan, Nurul Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Taijul Islam, and Ebadot Hossain.

In a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Danish Kaneria bashed Kuldeep for his performance in the fourth innings of the match, where he had the figures of 18-2-69-1 after Day 4. Former Pakistan leg-spinner said that the Indian left-arm wrist-spinner lacked the rhythm, which he had shown in the second innings.
“Kuldeep Yadav let me down today. He bowled brilliantly in the first innings, picked up five wickets, and bowled with rhythm. That rhythm was nowhere to be seen today,” Danish Parabha Shanker Kaneria said speaking on his YouTube channel.
He looked fatigued. I think there’s a slight fitness issue – Danish Kaneria on Kuldeep Yadav

Kaneria further said that Kuldeep looked fatigued in the last innings of the match and opined that he has some fitness issues. The ex-Pakistan bowler said:
“He looked fatigued. I think there’s a slight fitness issue. When he’ll be in rhythm, he won’t allow batters to play easily because wrist spinners have a lot of variety. He can do wonders.”
Notably, Kuldeep finished his spell with the figures of 16-6-40-5 in the second innings of the match to register the best Test figures by an Indian spinner in Bangladesh. He became only the third Indian spinner after Ashwin and Sunil Joshi to register a 5-wicket haul in Bangladesh in Test cricket.
