Ashwin smashed a terrific knock of 58 runs in 113 balls where he struck 2 fours and 2 sixes whereas Kuldeep Yadav scored his career-best of 40 runs in 114 balls where he smashed 5 fours.

Bangladesh Cricket Team had a terrible start to their 1st innings as they lost 2 wickets in 10 overs where they scored 37 runs. Siraj & Umesh bowled immaculate lines and lengths as they didn’t give any freebies to the batters.

Mohammed Siraj cleans up Litton Das

Mohammed Siraj was bowling his 2nd over of the new spell. On the first ball of the 13th over, there was an exchange of words between Siraj & Litton.  On the 2nd ball, the ball was kept a bit low as the ball hits the cue end of the bat and hits the stumps. Siraj & former skipper Virat Kohli were pumped up as Litton Das was set and was looking threatening as the batter scored  24 runs in 30 balls where he struck 5 fours. Bangladesh’s score at the time of dismissal was 39-3

Steep Road Ahead for Bangladesh

The way Indian pacers are hitting the deck, it won’t be wrong to say that Bangladesh has a strenuous task on its hands. All eyes would be on Rahim as he has the knack of playing long and effective innings. Bangladesh would be hoping that the batters apply a bit cautious approach as the pitch is turning out to be a minefield.

India is yet to introduce the chinaman Kuldeep Yadav & Axar Patel as the duo can inflict a lot of damage. Veteran Ashwin would be hoping that he gets some wickets as the spinner has been in and out of the side. India would be aware of Bangladesh’s unpredictability as the Men in Blue will have to keep on picking wickets.
