Watch: Jasprit Bumrah Castles Stumps As Liam Livingstone Goes For A Duck
Indian team new bowl bowlers continued to wreak havoc on English batters even as the format changed here on Tuesday in the first ODI half of the English team was sent to the dugout by the new ball pair of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami in the first 8 overs itself.
Jasprit Bumrah especially was in a lethal rhythm as he removed 4 English batters. 3 of the wickets that he got were of batters who got out for ducks.
The wickets included that of Jason Roy, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone.
In the first over itself, Bumrah accounted for Roy’s and Root’s wickets and bowled a maiden over.

He then returned to account for Bairstow’s wicket who smacked the Indian bowlers all around in the 5th Test. As much as it was Bumrah’s wicket, Rishabh Pant took a fantastic catch to get rid of the English opener.
Liam Livingstone had to come out to bat way early than he would have anticipated. In the last ODI series against the Netherlands, England recorded the highest ever total in ODIs, but against India, they are looking at their lowest ever ODI total.
Livingstone’s wicket was a result of Bumrah’s brilliance as he didn’t let Livingstone break free. On the 7 deliveries he played, he didn’t look comfortable at all.

So he tried to run down the track and put Bumrah off the line, but Bumrah was smart enough to bowl a little further from Livingstone. By stepping out, Livingstone made it almost a Yorker and exposed all his stumps. The ball swung and shattered the stumps. The result was a 4th duck of the innings for England.
