IND vs NZ: "He's A Player That Can Hit You And Hurt You In A Number Of Areas" - Tim Southee On Suryakumar Yadav

Indian Cricket Team registered a clinical victory over mighty New Zealand. The Men in Blue would be delighted as winning the match by 65 runs is a huge number in T20I Cricket. Suryakumar Yadav, the scintillating right-handed batter smashed his 2nd T20I century and was looking in beast mode.
New Zealand would be bothered as once again their skipper was seen struggling. Williamson smashed a half-century but his inability to hit boundaries hurt the team. The right-handed batter consumed a lot of dot balls and was looking in two minds whether to attack or defend.
Tim Southee on Suryakumar Yadav
Tim Southee was seen in a post-match press conference and was asked about Suryakumar Yadav. “Anytime a T20 player gets a hundred in a match, it’s quite often the difference. You look at the rest of the side and the way we sort of batted, his innings was miles apart from anything else we saw today.
“Probably made them get to a score that was probably a little bit more than what we were hoping for. It was an exceptional innings and it was the difference between restricting India to 175-180 and then getting above 190,” said Southee.
Invincible Suryakumar Yadav
The right-handed batter once again showed the world cricket why he is one of the best batters in modern cricket. The peculiarity of his knock was that he didn’t throw his wicket as he made sure that he stays till the end.
Besides, it looked as if he was toying with the bowlers. The way he decimated Southee & Co was quite enthralling. The batter had all the shots in the book as no variations proved to be effective whatsoever.
The management would be pumped up as this is Suryakumar Yadav’s maiden stint in New Zealand. Captain Hardik Pandya would be well aware of the fact that the rest of the batters need to contribute as every-time Suryakumar won’t play a significant knock for the team. With only 1 T20I left, it looks unlikely that the management will experiment.
