Kagiso Rabada believes that South Africa can pull off a victory on the final day of the ongoing India vs South Africa 1st Test. Although South Africa are on the backfoot in the match, Kagiso Rabada feels that his team can still win. The match in Centurion witnessed South Africa reaching 94-4 on the scoreboard on Day 4 against a target of 305 runs, needing 211 more runs for victory.
Chasing 305 in the final innings, South Africa lost their opener Aiden Markram for just 1 run. Keegan Petersen, Rassie van der Dussen, and Keshav Maharaj have also lost their wickets, with the latter trying to bat as a night watchman on Day 4. Dean Elgar is currently on the strike with unbeaten 52 runs.

We Have Just Got To Show Belief For Victory: Kagiso Rabada
When asked whether South Africa can win the match, Kagiso Rabada said that his team has to show belief and definitely they can. The right-arm pacer stressed support on Deal Elgar to lead from the front for chasing the target.
“Definitely. we have just got to show belief. Strategize overnight and see how to approach this. Every sportsman has got to believe. Dean is doing his best for his team, his country and himself. He is leading from the front. He has done it countless times,” Kagiso Rabada said.
Rabada also praised Indian bowlers for showing a good attack against them in the ongoing Test. So far, Mohammed Shami has scalped 6 wickets in the match while 4 wickets. Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur have picked 2 wickets each.
“They got some quality bowlers. (Mohammed) Shami and (Jasprit) Bumrah are very experienced and (Mohd) Siraj has been bowling well in the recent past. They have a good attack, they got pace and they have got skills. They are showing why they are a good attack,” he further said.
Kagiso Rabada gave an impressive bowling show in the 2nd innings, bagging four wickets. Earlier in the 1st innings, he picked 3 wickets. In the 1st innings, India scored 327-10 batting first. South Africa responded with 197-7. In the 2nd innings, India were bowled out for 174 and set up a target for 305 for the home team.
