Indian skipper Virat Kohli was not a happy man as the decision against Dean Elgar’s wicket was overturned by the DRS. South Africa chasing 211 for victory are inching closer to the 100-run mark in Cape Town. Skipper  Elgar rode his luck as the replays showed that the ball from Ashwin was narrowly missing the stumps.

Dean Elgar was ruled by on-field umpire Marais Erasmus after an appeal from Ravichandran Ashwin. It was the fourth delivery of the21st over of the Protean innings. The ball pitched on the stumps and looked to be heading towards the stumps on the naked eye. Erasmus ruled the decision in favour of Ashwin much to the excitement of the Indian team.

Virat Kohli In Shock Seeing Dean Elgar Get A Life:

Elgar decided to take the DRS. The replays showed that despite the ball pitching in line it was missing the stumps narrowly. The entire Indian cricket team along with skipper Virat Kohli was in shock. Emotions got the better of Kohli at that point and he kicked the turf in frustration and disbelief. The extra bounce on the pitch ultimately helped Elgar as the ball-tracking showed that the ball was going to miss the stumps.
