Dhawan has played over 150 ODIs for India and scored nearly 6500 runs in the format. He has been the chief scorer for India in the last decade in ODI cricket after Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Dhawan is 36 and might fancy retiring from the game after the ODI series against Zimbabwe. He would like to finish on a high if he eventually does that.

Lack of opportunities might force Kuldeep Yadav to retire from the ODI format. He was a constant in the Indian white-ball team from 2017 to 2019. Since then, he has been largely neglected in all formats for India. Recently he missed out on the South Africa series and then was picked for the T20I series against West Indies but did not play a game. He took 21 wickets in IPL 2022 but still was neglected by the selectors.

Mohammed Siraj

Siraj hardly plays white-ball cricket for India. He does not get into the team when the regular Indian bowlers are playing. He only gets opportunities when the prime attack is rested. He is a regular feature in the Indian Test side since his Test debut and to extend his Test career, he might think of retiring from the ODI format.
