India take on Zimbabwe in the third and final ODI of the three-match series on August 22, Monday in Harare. The visitors won the first ODI by 10 wickets and the second by five wickets and are leading the series 2-0. There have been many positives for India in the series and the biggest of them was KL Rahul and Deepak Chahar‘s comeback to full fitness.
While Chahar was rested from the second ODI, KL Rahul scored just one while opening the batting. India chased the target in 26 overs and won the game with five wickets to spare.

“I do need some time in the middle, obviously playing this series was important for me to take some runs and confidence away, unfortunately didn’t work out today” Rahul said in the post-match presentation.
Meanwhile, there is room for more than one change in the final ODI. Having won the series, there is room for Rahul Tripathi to make his debut in the final ODI.
