DC vs PBKS: We Want To Forget This Game And Move Forward - Mayank Agarwal

Punjab Kings were beaten comprehensively by 9 wickets by Delhi Capitals on Wednesday at Brabourne Stadium. Mayank Agarwal, their captain after the game said that his team would like to just forget the game and move forward.
Punjab lost the match with 57 balls remaining in the game. They were never quite in the game from the beginning itself.
We Thought 180 Would Be A Par Total: Mayank Agarwal
Punjab Kings started well as they raced to 33 runs in quick time, but Rishabh Pant brought in Lalit Yadav against left-hander Shikhar Dhawan and Yadav did his job by dismissing Dhawan in the 4th over itself courtesy of a brilliant catch down the leg by Pant.
Mayank Agarwal soon followed Dhawan as he got out to Mustafizur Rehman. Liam Livingstone and Jonny Bairstow also failed to get going.
Jitesh Sharma top-scored with 32 runs but in trying to go after Axar Patel he too lost his wicket.
Axar Patel was the pick of the bowler for DC as he picked 2 wickets for only 10 runs in his 4 overs.
3 other bowlers picked up 2 wickets each which meant that PBKS managed just 115 runs on the board.
The target was so low that DC chased it down in just 10.3 overs with David Warner scoring his 3rd consecutive half-century of the season.

“It’s a tough one, a day to forget for us, best to move on and not think too much into the game. We didn’t bat and bowl well, we just need to move on from today. We have been losing too many wickets too early, that’s a concern. Don’t want to dwell too much, if we do so, a lot of negatives will come out. A total of around 180 could have been competitive. In hindsight, I could have given a couple of overs early for the spinners, but I didn’t do so”, he added.
PBKS are languishing in the bottom half of the table. They would hope to change things around quickly as games come thick and fast in IPL.
