Gujarat Titans (GT) were in desperate need of a wicket and the moment arrived when the youngster, Abhinav Manohar Sadarangani, managed to run out all-rounder, Lalit Yadav, at a crucial stage in the match.

GT and Delhi Capitals (DC) are battling it out in Game 9 at the MCA Stadium in Pune. DC, chasing a target of 172, was in trouble at 35/3. Lalit teamed up with Rishabh Pant and the two set about rebuilding the chase.

Unfortunately, their partnership was cut short just when it was gathering steam. Lalit tucked a delivery from Vijay Shankar towards the leg side and set off for a double. However, there was a slight bit of hesitation.

It ended up costing DC as Lalit was caught short at the bowler’s end. Shankar had actually knocked off one of the bails but the other was intact when he dislodged it and Lalit was caught short in his crease.
