Royal Challengers Bangalore made the playoffs for the third straight year in IPL 2022. However, they lost to Rajasthan Royals in the second qualifier as the dream to win their maiden IPL title remains an unfinished business.
RCB managed to reach the playoff courtesy of favour from Mumbai Indians. However, throughout the league stage, they were not consistent with their performances. Like Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, they failed to grab the initiative after winning games and gave away the momentum.
There were not too many positives for the franchise as they endured another disappointing campaign. However, there were individual brilliant performances based on which we choose three valuable RCB players in IPL 2022.

Dinesh Karthik
Dinesh Karthik scored 330 runs in IPL 2022 for RCB. He established himself as a finisher in the IPL this season. It also led to his international recall at the age of 37. He also hit 22 sixes in the season and maintained a strike rate of 183.33. He was the best out of the lot for RCB this season.

Wanindu Hasaranga
Hasaranga finished the season as the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2022. He ended the season with 26 wickets including a fifer. RCB paid 10.75 crores. The leggie didn’t let the franchise feel the absence of Yuzvendra Chahal who played for Rajasthan Royals this season and ended as the highest wicket-taker with 27 scalps.
Josh Hazlewood
Hazlewood in his first season with Royal Challengers Bangalore managed to grab the limelight. He ended the season with 20 wickets in the season and finished seventh on the table. The Aussie pacer has transformed himself into a formidable T20 bowler which was on show this year.
