Prithvi Shaw was one of the four players retained by the Delhi Capitals for the upcoming edition of the IPL. The franchise has put faith in his abilities and chose to retain him ahead of the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Kagiso Rabada, Ravichandran Ashwin, etc.
There is no denying that he is one of the most destructive hitters of the cricket ball. He is known to give destructive starts in the power play overs. However, Delhi Capitals can easily reach the playoffs if he finds consistency this year. Shaw had a phenomenal season last year as he scored 479 runs in 15 matches at a strike rate of close to 160.
