While some West Indies players will attract a massive amount during the auction, there are also a few others who might not find a buyer. IPL 2022 Auction: 5 West Indies Players Who Might Go Unsold In Mega Auction
5. Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran is the first West Indies player who might go unsold during IPL 2022 auction. The wicketkeeper-batsman has kept a base price of Rs. 1.5 crore for himself. Last year, the left-handed batsman came up with a very poor batting show for Punjab Kings.
He played 12 games and scored just 32 runs. Notably, he got out for duck multiple times during the tournament which caught everyone’s attention. After such a poor performance last season, franchises might overlook him this time.
4. Alzarri Joseph
Alzarri Joseph is another West Indies player who might go unsold during IPL 2022 auction. The right-arm pacer has kept a base price of Rs. 75 lakh. Last year, he went unsold in IPL 2021 auction at a base price of Rs. 50 lakh.
Alzarri Joseph is not among the prime pace bowlers from West Indies currently. Many pace bowlers are part of the auction and franchises have more options to choose from. Like last year, Alzarri Joseph might go unsold during this year’s auction too.
3. Oshane Thomas
Oshane Thomas is another player from West Indies who might go unsold during IPL 2022 auction. He has kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh for himself. Last season, the left-arm pacer had a base price of Rs. 50 lakh but failed to get any bidders for himself.
Later, Rajasthan Royals picked him as a replacement player but did not play him in any game. He last played in IPL in the 2019 edition, where he played 4 matches for Rajasthan Royals.

2. Fabian Allen
Fabian Allen is another player on this list. Fabian Allen has kept a base price of Rs. 75 lakh for himself. The all-rounder played 4 matches in IPL 2021 for Punjab Kings. However, he could only score 6 runs.
There are many top all-rounders who are part of the auction. Hence, franchises will give less attention to Fabian Allen and he might end up being unsold.

1. Shai Hope
Shai Hope is another player on this list. The wicketkeeper-batsman has kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh for himself. Last year, he had a base price of Rs. 50 lakh but he went unsold during the auction. In the wicketkeeper-batsman category, Shai Hope is not among the top players in the auction.
Moreover, he does not play for West Indies on a regular basis. Hence, he might end up with a similar fate like the last year’s auction and go unsold in IPL 2022 auction.
