Delhi Capitals all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and wicket-keeper batter Tim Seifert have recovered from Covid 19.

Both the players tested positive for the virus last week after which they had to be isolated. In fact, Mitchell Marsh was hospitalized last Monday after it was found that he was positive for the virus.

Tim Seifert who tested positive two days after Mitchell Marsh was found positive played the first couple of games in the season for DC and opened for them as David Warner was not available. He didn’t impress much and was subsequently dropped from the side to accommodate David Warner.

Mitchell Marsh on the other hand also joined DC late as he was recovering from an injury. He did play a game in between but struggled to get going as he found it difficult to time the ball against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Just after the match, he was found to be Covid positive after their Physio Patrick Farhart was also tested positive.

But now everything seems to be getting back on track for the franchise as both the players have recovered from the virus and have joined their team in their team.

Delhi Capitals through social media announced that they have recovered now and have joined the team in the practice session.

“We are feeling Good. Great to have you back at the training, boys,” DC said in a social media post.

DC is scheduled to face Kolkata Knight Riders next. They would hope that Mitchell Marsh is a match fit as they might need his services as they look to go up in the points table.
