IPL 2022: Don't Know Why Mumbai Didn't Go Back To Marco Jansen, He's An Awesome Talent - Brian Lara

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batting coach Brian Lara lavished praise on pacer, Marco Jansen after the latter bowled a stunning first over against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday.
Jansen took the wickets of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Anuj Rawat in a single over which helped set his team up for success. They went on to bowl out RCB for 68 before chasing the target down in 8 overs.

“We’ve got some good bowlers. We went back to the auction and we got Bhuvi and Natarajan from the old team. We added a couple of youngsters. Marco Jansen… I don’t know why Mumbai didn’t go back to him. He is an awesome talent,” Lara told Star Sports.
“The opposing team would realize that they can’t go too hard against us” – Brian Lara
Lara further mentioned that they have an excellent pace attack marshaled well by skipper, Kane Williamson, which has put them on a 5-match winning streak and taken them to 2nd place on the points table.
“They’re all working in tandem. The captain is well and truly controlling this group on the field. I didn’t see ourselves as a wicket-taking team but more like a team that can contain the batsmen, but the guys are taking the early wickets which is very important.”

“Honestly, at some point of time, the opposing team would realize that they can’t go too hard against us, but I’m sure we are going to have another plan for that. So far, it has been exceptional,” Lara added.
