For Gujarat, Lockie Ferguson was the costliest deal at Rs. 10 crores. Some other costly players that Gujarat Titans grabbed during the auction are Mohammed Shami (6.25 crores), Rahul Tewatia (9 crores), David Miller (3 crores), and Matthew Wade (2.4 crores).

Jason Roy will be another opener that Gujarat Titans can pick in the opening game. The team picked him for Rs. 2 crores during IPL auction 2022. Making a late entry into Sunrisers Hyderabad last season, the England player slammed 150 runs in 5 games at an average of 30.0. He also played a match-winning knock of 60 in one game.

Abhinav Sadarangani

Abhinav Sadarangani might be another batsman in the middle-order. Abhinav is a domestic player from Karnataka. From his base price of Rs. 20 lakh, Gujarat Titans spent Rs. 2.6 crores to pick the right-handed batsman. Sadarangani played a few incredible knocks in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 last year.
