IPL 2022: Pragyan Ojha Names Shikhar Dhawan And David Warner Are The Most Consistent Performers In The IPL

Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner have been declared the most consistent performers in the Indian Premier League’s history by former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha.

Both hitters are among the league’s leading run-scorers and have spent four seasons together at Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Despite their advanced age, both performers were at the peak of their profession, earning them a spot on the premier list. The two were popular at the IPL 2022 mega auction, as their separate franchises earned significant amounts for them.

The Punjab Kings paid $8.25 crore for Dhawan, while the Delhi Capitals paid $6.25 crore for Warner.

Pragyan Ojha of Cricbuzz commented on Dhawan’s adaptability at the top of the order depends on the circumstances:

“There have always been two players who have always been dependable for me. Dhawan is one, while Warner is the other. Dhawan can both build an innings and play aggressively. He maintains a high level of clarity and plays by the scenario,” Pragyan Ojha Said.

Shikhar Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa put on a crucial 82-run stand for the second wicket. Before Liam Livingstone went in to finish the game off, the standing was established to be the heart of the run chase.

“The game might have been interesting if Punjab had lost a few more wickets at the top. Dhawan committed to his abilities while Rajapaksa came in and performed his natural game. After this partnership, GT was unable to enter the game. Because of that partnership, Livingstone was allowed to come in and play freely.”

PBKS improved to the top half of the standings with their fifth win of the season.
