Sanju Samson is one player that RR can retain in IPL 2022. The franchise picked him as the skipper in IPL 2021. The wicketkeeper-batsman slammed a century in his debut game itself in the 2021 season.

In 14 matches, the 27-year-old player mustered 484 runs at an amazing average of 40.33, finishing as the top run-getter for RR and 6th highest in the tournament. Samson has given consistent batting performances for the team in the last few seasons and RR might keep him in the squad in next edition as well.

Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler might be another player that RR will retain in IPL 2022. Ben Stokes is also a good choice but the England all-rounder just played 1 match in the last season before injuring himself. He also took a long break from cricket thereafter and did not play any competitive games.
