IPL 2022 is all set to commence on March 26. In the opening match, Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. IPL 2022 is expected to be much more exciting with the addition of 2 new teams. Hence, the 2022 season will be a 10-team tournament.

Harpreet Brar takes the 5th spot on this list. The left-arm spinner was part of Punjab Kings in the last season. He had an economy of just 6.04 in IPL 2021. He played 7 matches and scalped 5 wickets at an average of 27.80, along with a 3-wicket haul in one game. He will again play for Punjab Kings in the 2022 season.

4. Nitish Rana- 6.0

Nitish Rana is mainly popular as a batsman in Indian Premier League. However, last season, he also bowled some economical overs in the tournament. Playing for Kolkata Knight Riders, the right-arm spinner bowled 2 overs in 2 matches and conceded just 12 runs, thereby, registering an economy of just 6.0.

3. Aiden Markram- 5.75

Aiden Markram gets the 3rd spot on this list. Last season, Markram was part of Punjab Kings. He bowled at an economy of 5.75. Bowling 4 overs in 2 matches, the spinner conceded just 23 runs. He remained wicketless in the tournament but managed to register a good economy. Markram will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022.

2. Moises Henriques- 4.5

Moises Henriques grabs the 2nd spot on this list. Henriques owned an economy of just 4.50 in IPL 2021. He was part of Punjab Kings. He bowled 10 overs in 5 matches and conceded 45 runs. At an average of 11.25, Henriques grabbed 4 wickets in the tournament. He went unsold during this year’s auction.

Imran Tahir tops this list with an economy of just 4.0 in IPL 2021. Last season, the South African spinner was part of Chennai Super Kings. The right-arm spinner bowled 4 overs in 1 match and conceded just 16 runs. Tahir also bagged 2 wickets in the match. Tahir went unsold in the IPL 2022 auction.
