The 15th edition of Indian Premier League, IPL 2022, is set to commence soon. The tournament kickstarts on March 26 with the opening clash between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. With the addition of 2 new teams, IPL 2022 will witness a clash among 10 teams.

Chris Woakes gets the 5th spot on this list. Last season, the England all-rounder accounted for a bowling strike rate of 13.20. Playing for Delhi Capitals, Woakes picked 5 wickets in 3 matches at an average of 16.40 and an economy of 7.45. Woakes is not part of the 2022 season.

Shahbaz Ahmed bowled at a strike rate of 12.0 in IPL 2021. He was part of Royal Challengers Bangalore last season. In 6 innings, he picked 7 wickets at an average of 13.14. He also picked a 3-wicket haul in one game. The spinner will again play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022.

3. Jason Holder- 11.93

Jason Holder gets the 3rd spot on this list. The West Indies all-rounder had a strike rate of 11.93 last season, where he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Bowling in 8 matches, Holder picked 16 wickets at an average of 15.43. He also grabbed a 4-wicket haul in one game. Holder is part of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2022.

Harshal Patel gets the 2nd spot on this list. The RCB pacer owned a strike rate of 10.56 in IPL 2021. With 32 wickets in 15 games, he was the highest wicket-taker of the tournament and won the purple cap. Patel is again part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022.
