IPL 2022 is all set to entertain cricket fans with exciting and thrilling games soon. The tournament starts on March 26, when defending champions Chennai Super Kings will battle against Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening game. This season, a total of 10 teams are part of the tournament.

5. Lockie Ferguson- 56

Lockie Ferguson takes the 5th spot on this list. Although Ferguson bowled very well in IPL 2021, he failed to showcase his magic in the final match against Chennai Super Kings. The New Zealand pacer was hit for 56 runs in 4 overs in IPL 2021 final.

Chennai Super Kings managed to get a mammoth total of 192-3 on the scoreboard. Kolkata Knight Riders lost the match by 27 runs and finished as runners-up in the tournament.

Sam Curran takes the 4th spot on this list. Curran was part of Chennai Super Kings IPL 2021. In a match against Kolkata Knight Riders during the league stage, Sam Curran conceded 56 runs in his 4 overs.

The left-arm pacer also failed to get any wicket. Batting first, KKR posted 171-6 on the scoreboard. However, KKR eventually lost the match by 2 wickets in the end.

3. Sam Curran- 58

Sam Curran registered another expensive spell in the last season. This time too, it was a Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders clash during the league stage. Chennai Super Kings batted first and slammed 220-3 on the board.

Sam Curran managed to pick 1 wicket but was hit for 58 runs in his 4-over spell. KKR was bowled out for 202 and lost the match by 18 runs.

Pat Cummins takes the 2nd spot on this list. In the same KKR vs CSK match mentioned earlier, Pat Cummins was hit for 58 runs. The KKR pacer conceded 58 runs in his 4 overs and ended wicketless. CSK managed to post 220-3 on the scoreboard and later defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 18 runs.

Lungi Ngidi conceded the most runs in a single match during IPL 2021. He was part of the Chennai Super Kings. In the match against Mumbai Indians, the right-arm pacer conceded 62 runs in his 4 overs. He also remained wicketless in the match.

Chennai Super Kings piled up 218-4 batting first. Later, Mumbai Indians successfully chased the target and won the match by 4 wickets.
