Chennai Super Kings won by 23 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore in an Indian Premier League match on Tuesday evening, ending their dismal streak. The architects of CSK’s first win of the season were Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa, who added a 165-run third-wicket partnership.

Dube scored an unbroken 95 runs off 46 balls, while Uthappa scored 80 runs off 50 balls before being bowled by Wanindu Hasaranga. CSK heaped 216/4 on the board thanks to the duo’s efforts, while RCB could only manage 193/9 in their 20 overs.

Yuvraj Singh has always been a role model for left-handed players, according to Dube, who is aware of the comparison. He also thanked MS Dhoni for his assistance in enhancing his skills.

“We were hoping for our first win, and I’m glad I was able to help the squad out.” It’s a privilege for me. This time, I’m more focused and concentrating on the fundamentals. I chatted with several elders, and Mahi bhai also assisted me in improving my game. “Just be attentive, be still, and let the skill work in the game,’ he said. I was hoping to time the ball perfectly. I tried to stay in the middle of the pack.”

Yuvi pa is a great role model for left-handed people. Many people have told me that I have the same bat speed as him. “I am ready to bat everywhere,” the all-rounder remarked during the post-match presentation ceremony, as the circumstances dictate, as the captain and coach instruct me.

Sanjay Manjrekar  picked two shots from the all-rounder knock:

Sanjay Manjrekar shared his thoughts on Dube’s dominant performance by selecting two shots from the all-rounder that helped him reach his conclusion.

“Hazlewood got it correct, bowled it fully, and he was well inside the crease, which is nearly tough to achieve. One is that you have a natural ability to hit the ball far, as Yuvraj Singh and Shivam Dube both do, as well as the confidence to do so.”

“He’s looking a lot leaner and fitter and the Wanindu Hasaranga shot, there was nothing wrong with the delivery, it was just a little short of length because he didn’t want to pitch it right up, so he got on the backfoot and dragged it, and the distance wasn’t just beyond the boundary ropes.” Sanjay Manjrekar added.

“These two shots show that he’s not only a hitter; he smashes some beautiful shots, which is why this inning was able to overshadow another fantastic inning,” Sanjay Manjrekar remarked on ESPNCricinfo.

Dube is presently in second place in the Orange Cap race with 207 runs from five appearances after his impressive performance against RCB.
