LSG vs GT: They Will Become The First Team To Qualify – Harbhajan Singh Backs Gujarat Titans To Defeat Lucknow Super Giants

Former Indian National Cricket Team off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has predicted that the Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) will defeat KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 57th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Tuesday, May 10.

The winner of the clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will reach the 18 points mark and will become the first team to qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2022. Currently, LSG are at the No.1 spot in the points table and GT are at the No.2 spot.

In a conversation with Star Sports Network, Harbhajan Singh said that Gujarat Titans are a difficult team to beat.

“Gujarat Titans are going to win the match against Lucknow Super Giants and they will become the first team to qualify.

“The Hardik Pandya-led side is very strong. Rashid Khan is in great form and coach Ashish Nehra is giving them just the right amount of confidence. This team is difficult to beat,” opined Harbhajan.

Former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden also lauded the Gujarat Titans and said that the Hardik Pandya and co. have several match-winners in the team. He also labelled GT as a dangerous side.

“GT bat deep, they’ve got the confidence, and they are full of match winners.

“It’s exciting to watch them because when there’s not a Rahul Tewatia show, it’s a Rashid Khan show and when Rashid isn’t performing, it’s a Killer-Miller (David Miller) show. This team is lined up with several match-winners and that’s what makes them a dangerous side. It’s exciting to watch the brand of cricket they are playing,” he said.
