MI vs CSK: Watch - Jaydev Unadkat Dismisses Robin Uthappa As CSK Fall Behind In Run Chase
Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Jaydev Unadkat helped his team pile on the pressure as he dismissed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opener, Robin Uthappa, during CSK’s run chase of 156 at the DY Patil Stadium on Thursday.
After being put in to bat first, Mumbai huffed and puffed its way to a rather competitive total of 155 on a sticky wicket. Tilak Varma top-scored with a 43-ball 51 while Mukesh Choudhary took 3 wickets in his spell.
The CSK run chase got off to a terrible start as Ruturaj Gaikwad fell for a golden duck. Mitchell Santner’s promotion failed as he fell soon after, leaving Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu to rebuild.
The duo put on 50 runs for the 3rd wicket before Uthappa was undone by Unadkat’s slower off-cutter. He tried to pull but got a top-edge that was gobbled up by Dewald Brevis at deep square leg.
