Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma was seen giving a virtual hug to a pitch invader during their match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
MI had put up a sturdy total of 151 on the board courtesy of a stunning knock from Suryakumar Yadav. He scored 68 off just 34 balls, including 6 massive hits over the fence.
In response, RCB started off well with a 50-run opening stand. Soon after, Faf du Plessis fell with Virat Kohli walking in to do what he does best – chase down totals with ease.

During the chase, a fan ended up breaching the security and he ran toward Rohit. The MI captain was seen turning back and distancing himself from the fan due to understandable Covid-19 guidelines, He then gave him a virtual hug and then the RCB batsman Virat Kohli was seen appreciating the gesture.
