Mumbai Indians (MI) batter Suryakumar Yadav smashed a 101-m six off Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowled Wanindu Hasaranga in their game at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Saturday.
MI was struggling at 80/6 when Suryakumar began building a partnership with Jaydev Unadkat. All the specialist batters were back in the hut when the right-handed batter took the responsibility for shouldering the innings.
During the knock, he took on the spinners, Hasaranga in particular. He smashed a massive 101-m six in the process over deep mid-wicket that signaled his intentions to attack.
He went on to score 68 off 37 balls, the knock included 5 fours and 6 sixes. It helped MI post a competitive total of 151/6, which seems to be a strong total on a two-paced wicket in Pune.
