RCB vs PBKS: Sachin Tendulkar Hails Harshal Patel For His Performance In IPL 2022

Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar showered high praise on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Harshal Patel for his performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

Harshal Patel, who was the highest wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League 2021, has already bagged 18 wickets in 12 IPL 2022 games and he is the 4th highest wicket-taker in the 15th edition of the tournament.

Speaking in a video shared on his YouTube channel, Tendulkar said that Harshal is one of the best death bowlers in the country and he was the reason why Punjab Kings didn’t score in the excess of 209 runs. He asserted:

“The only reason Punjab could score 209 and not more was because of Harshal Patel. His bowling is improving day by day and is able to disguise his variations well.

“He is one of our leading bowlers in the country at the death. When batters are looking to accelerate, Harshal is a top bet.”

Livingstone scored 70 runs off 42 balls, including 5 fours and 4 sixes in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore to help Punjab Kings score 209 runs.

Tendulkar was highly impressed with the performance of the English cricketers and he lauded Livingstone for his bat speed.

“Livingstone’s bat speed and backlift is incredible. He was not only hitting big sixes but also showed great experience. A batter like him is expected to play at a strike rate of 150 and also bat till the end which he did. It was because of Livingstone that Punjab scored 209 runs on the board.”
