In cricket, Yuvraj Singh referred to Jos Buttler as a “gentleman.” Buttler was praised by Singh for his sportsmanship during the IPL 2022 match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, which took place at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday.
Yuvraj Singh said that Butler’s other teammates were also asked to learn from the RR opener, according to Singh.
Buttler used a slide to keep the ball from crossing the line. The event occurred in the GT innings’ 12th over. Hardik Pandya, the Gujarat captain, pulled Jimmy Neesham’s short ball. Butler attempted to halt the ball’s progress. He did, however, come into contact with the rope in the process.
Butler immediately instructed on-field umpires to consult the third umpire to determine if the save was clean or a boundary. Buttler’s back leg was found to have hit the boundary rope during the replay, and it was called four.
Butler’s sportsmanship was praised by Yuvraj Singh:
