RR vs GT: Twitter Reacts As Hardik Pandya Smashes Impressive 52-ball 87 Against Rajasthan

Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Hardik Pandya continued playing impressive knocks, this time around against the table toppers, Rajasthan Royals. The two teams are battling it out to go to the top of the table at the DY Patil Stadium on Thursday.
RR put Gujarat into bat first after Sanju Samson won his first toss of the IPL 2022 season. They were jolted early twice, with both openers Shubman Gill and Matthew Wade back in the hut.
Hardik joined hands with Abhinav Manohar to rebuild the innings for the 4th wicket. They put on 86 runs, with Hardik doing most of the work. He took on the inexperienced pacer, Kuldeep Sen, and ensured that the youngster was never at home.
Manohar fell after a well-made 43 but Hardik continued to unleash his array of strokes alongside David Miller. The South African himself got back into form, smashing a 14-ball 31 in the death over.
Hardik had the chance to go for a hundred in the final over but he was content with his knock. He eventually finished on 87 off just 52 balls, smashing four sixes and eight fours in the process.
It was a much-needed knock for the Baroda all-rounder, who was under pressure after a slow fifty in the previous match against SRH. He also took the Orange cap from Jos Buttler, who will have the chance to take it back when he bats for RR in the run chase.
