The 21-year-old Mumbai Indians (MI) off-spinner Hrithik Shokeen dismissed Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Jos Buttler, who is in red-hot form, in the 44th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Saturday, April 30.

Jos Buttler’s sensational run in the Indian Premier League continued in the battle against Mumbai Indians and he smashed yet another half-century for Rajasthan Royals. Even though the conditions were not batting friendly the RR opener Buttler batted cautiously to score a fifty.

Meanwhile, Buttler was batting very slow in the match against Mumbai Indians as he was at 43 runs off 46 balls after 15 overs. He decided to accelerate his innings in the 16th over, which was bowled by spin bowler Hrithik Shokeen.

Buttler smashed sixes on the first ball and the second ball to complete his half-century off 48 balls, including, 5 fours and 2 sixes. He didn’t stop there as he smashed two back-to-back sixes on the next two deliveries as well.

On the 5th ball, the Mumbai Indians spinner bowled a delivery wide outside off with the angle but the umpire didn’t declare it as wide.

However, on the last ball, the off-spinner once again delivered a ball outside off and Buttler toe-ended it straight to the fielder at long-off and Suryakumar Yadav grabbed an easy catch. Buttler’s innings ended at 67 runs off 52 balls, including 5 fours and 4 sixes.

In the end, Ravichandran Ashwin played an amazing 21 runs cameo knock to help Rajasthan Royals score 158 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.
