Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, was left disappointed after the Mumbai Indians skipper failed to score big and got out on a low score in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on his birthday.

One of the modern-day greats and the skipper of the India National Cricket Team, Rohit Sharma, turned 35 years old on Saturday, April 30 and he received loads of wishes from his fans all around the world.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was able to score only 2 runs off 5 balls on his birthday in the 44th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 against Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Saturday, April 30.

Rohit got out on the 3rd ball of the 3rd over, which was bowled by veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

Ashwin bowled a fullish length delivery that had some extra bounce and the Mumbai Indians captain went for the sweep shot and he only managed to top-edge the ball to square leg.

RR fielder Daryl Mitchell jogged back from backward square to grab an easy catch to dismiss the Mumbai Indians captain and the off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin went for his celebrations.

This was the 17th consecutive innings for Rohit Sharma in which he had failed to cross the 50 runs mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Earlier, in the day Rohit’s better half Ritika Sajdeh didn’t miss out on wishing her husband on the auspicious occasion. She took to her official Instagram handle to share some beautiful pictures of her family. Ritika Sajdeh captioned her post:
