IPL 2022: Sanju Samson Has An Amazing Attitude, Hope He Has A Blockbuster Of A Year - Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin lavished praise on the 27-year-old wicket-keeper batter and Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper, Sanju Samson, stating that he has a great attitude for the game and can be successful in the coming years.
Samson has been one of the players who have been unable to justify the immense talent they possess. His inconsistency has haunted him and has cost him numerous chances in the Indian team. In the upcoming IPL 2022 season, Samson will be hoping to turn things around.
“I think Sanju has got an amazing attitude and a good head on his shoulders. He’s always open for discussion, open to opinions around the game, so that’s a great quality to have.”
“I do believe Sanju has got the vantage point as a wicketkeeper to judge the game with all the angles, the pitch, and how things are going to work. He also has age on his side, and will definitely get better. I hope he has one blockbuster of a year,” Ashwin said.

Ashwin went on to mention that he will be trying his best to contribute to the RR franchise, be it on the field or giving advice to the youngsters off it. His experience at the international level will be a huge bonus and something that the youngsters can learn from.
“I feel the contribution to a team is far beyond just contributing on the ground. I’ve always been a person who enjoys talking about cricket and have been very open in terms of having a discussion with anyone around the sport.”
“With my experience and communication skills, I’ll try to have discussions with anyone who wants to have a discussion and help to the best of my ability, hopefully making a difference to the squad from within,” Ashwin added.
