Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have unveiled their new team jersey ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022). The jersey is similar to what they had announced before the IPL 2022 mega auction with Orange colored shirt and lowered with a black-colored design on the shoulders.
Also, the new kit has orange dots sprinkled on black sleeves and the neck and collar are of pure black color while the lower gear is of plain orange color. With the redesigned jersey Sunrisers Hyderabad would be looking forward to reversing their fortunes under the leadership of Kane Williamson after a poor run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
The IPL 2016 winners will have new look management as well with Tom Moody replacing Trevor Bayliss as the head coach. Former West Indies captain Brian Lara is appointed the batting coach of the SRH squad and he will also be a strategic advisor of the team. Muttiah Muralitharan remains the mentor and spin bowling coach of the side, while South Africa pace legend Dale Steyn has joined in as their fast bowling coach for the upcoming season.

The SRH franchise had retained just Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad, and Umran Malik ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. However, they spent big money in the IPL 2022 auction with a purse of INR 68 crores.
Their biggest buy was West Indies keeper-batter Nicholas Pooran for INR 10.75 crores and the second most expensive was Washington Sundar for INR 8.75 crores. Rahul Tripathi also joined SRH for INR 8.5 crores. However, the SRH was fortunate to get back Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan for under INR 5 crores each.
Meanwhile, the Sunrisers Hyderabad presented the first look of captain Kane Williamson in the new-look jersey and kit on Twitter.
They tweeted: “Here’s the first look of Captain Kane in the #OrangeArmour.”
