IPL has taken place in UAE two times so far in the history of 13 years, and not many batsmen have been able to cope with the bounce and pace of those pitches. In 2014, Punjab used the conditions to their advantage as the first half of the season took place in UAE due to elections while the second half took place again in India.

The tough challenging Covid times in 2020 meant that IPL had to be suspended and it was held in closed doors for the first time in the month of September with strict protocols. The 2021 IPL started off positively in India, but the rage in Covid-19 cases again meant that the BCCI had to suspend at the midway. The remaining games will now take place in the month of September in UAE as we look at 4 Batsmen with the most runs in IPL history in UAE.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is fourth on the list of batsmen with the most runs in IPL history in UAE. Kohli is also the overall highest run-scorer in IPL and he has started the season tremendously for the Royal Challengers Bangalore with 5 wins in 7 games already and is placed at 3rd in the standings.

Kohli likes the ball coming onto the bat and he has hit a total of 571 runs in the IPL history in UAE so far. He is always among the runs and the RCB captain will be looking to lift his maiden IPL trophy this year.

Shikhar Dhawan:

The Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan is third on the list of batsmen with the most runs in IPL history in UAE. Dhawan has been in the form of his life in the last two IPL seasons and he is already leading the race for the orange cap this season with 380 runs in 8 games.

Dhawan has taken the Delhi side to the top of the standings at the moment and he played a key role in taking Delhi to the finals in the previous season as well. He has been playing with a lot of freedom and does know the conditions really well at the moment. He has scored 703 runs so far in UAE in his IPL career.

David Warner:

The Australian opener David Warner is second on the list of batsmen with the most runs in IPL history in UAE. Warner who has captained the Sunrisers Hyderabad for a long time now was sacked from the captaincy role this season towards the midway of the tournament and his future in the franchise is uncertain at the moment.

Warner has been a match-winner for any side he plays and he has taken the side to a title win in 2016 as well. However, his slight slump in form meant that Kane Williamson was appointed the new captain. Warner had a good run of form in UAE last season and he has scored 711 runs in UAE overall in his IPL career.

KL Rahul:

KL Rahul leads the list of batsmen with most runs in UAE in IPL and the Punjab skipper has been the lone man standing for his franchise. Rahul bagged the orange cap in the previous season in UAE and he is second in the race this season too. He is starting to establish his authority in the tournament with pure domination.

Rahul has scored 788 runs in IPL in UAE so far and it will not be a surprise if he continues to stay at the number one spot at the end of this season. Rahul has transformed his IPL form into international stages as well and is a regular for India in all formats now.
