Royal Challengers Bangalore have turned the tables and are on a roll with two wins continuously in IPL 2021 in the last two games. The Virat Kohli-led side did not start their UAE campaign well but their good run in the IPL 2021 has been helping them a lot. They have a stronghold at the moment in the top four positions.

RCB is currently in the third position with 14 points from 11 games and they have slightly improved their net run rate with -0.200. However, they will need a lot bigger wins to get above Delhi Capitals for the top two slots. A win with 2.5 overs left against Rajasthan will certainly help their cause and here is how RCB can qualify for IPL 2021 playoffs.

How RCB Can Qualify For IPL 2021 Playoffs:

RCB still has three games in hand, and they need just one more win from their next three games to progress to the IPL 2021 playoffs. Their only worry could be if they lose all their three upcoming games which might hamper their net run rate and they could fall in a position to miss out from the playoffs IPL 2021 on net run rate.

Their first criteria will be to qualify for the playoffs with 16 points and then think about the net run rate for the first two slots. The RCB side was very clinical about their business in the game against RR  and two more performances like that might be enough for them to get closer to Delhi Daredevils. RCB’s next three games will be against the Punjab, Sunrisers, and Delhi.

This will be the last season for RCB to be captained by Virat Kohli and they will be looking to finish the tournament on a high note. They have benefited a lot by the addition of Glenn Maxwell to the side and he produced yet another scintillating performance against RR yesterday. RCB’s next fixture will be against the Punjab Kings on Sunday afternoon.
