IPL 2021 is expected to be conducted in April 2021 and the tournament will once again enthral the Indian cricket fans. After a gap of one year, the tournament returns back to India as the venue. Last year, it was conducted in the UAE due to Covid 19 pandemic. This time, cricket fans are filled with a lot of enthusiasm as they will be able to visit the grounds to enjoy the matches.

Jhye Richardson will make a debut in the Indian Premier League in IPL 2021. The Australian pacer came to the limelight with his spectacular performance in Big Bash League 2020-21. The 24-year-old Aussie youngster bagged 29 wickets in 17 games- the most number of wickets in the league.

Trusting his capability, Punjab Kings bought the cricketer for Rs. 14 crore in IPL auction. If Jhye Richardson is able to replicate his Big Bash 20-2021 magic in IPL 2021, he can surely win the Emerging Cricketer of the Year award.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021 auction. While playing for Punjab Kings in IPL 2018, Rahman scalped 14 wickets in 11 matches. He was not given enough opportunities in IPL 2019 and IPL 2020. Sunrisers Hyderabad has bought the player in their squad now. With Indian conditions favouring the spin bowlers more, youngster Mujeeb Ur Rahman might win the Emerging Cricketer of the Year award in IPL 2021.

Cricketer Shahrukh Khan became a part of Punjab Kings in IPL 2021 at a heavy price of Rs. 5.25 crore. Shahrukh Khan has impressed everyone with his performance in Tamil Nadu Premier League 2019 and 2018. The 25-year-old cricketer is an all-rounder and he is one of the young contenders who can grab the Emerging Cricketer of the Year award in IPL 2021.

Ishan Kishan was a worthy contender of winning the Emerging Cricketer of the Year award in IPL 2020 after he piled up 516 runs in just 13 innings. The award went to Devdutt Padikkal. Ishan Kishan also smashed the maximum number of sixes in IPL 2020 with 30 sixes in the tournament.
