The 14^th edition of the Indian Premier League will commence with the first match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9, 2021. 6 venues will host all the matches in IPL 2021. The tournament will conclude with the final match on May 30, 2021.

Vice-captains are the players who have to back their captains and also perform greatly for the team. Along with captains, vice-captains are also responsible to take responsibility for the team. 7. Dinesh Karthik (Kolkata Knight Riders)- Rating: 6

Dinesh Karthik gets a rating of 6 out of 10 as vice-captain. Last season, Dinesh Karthik stepped down as the skipper of the Kolkata Knight Riders to focus on his batting. Dinesh Karthik will be vice-captain of KKR in IPL 2021. He is a great batsman and an experienced wicket-keeper.
