IPL 2021 takes a countdown as the tournament is just 2 weeks away. The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League will commence with the first match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9, 2021. 6 venues will host all the matches in IPL 2021. The tournament will conclude with the final match on May 30, 2021.

Vice-captains are the players who have to back their captains and also perform greatly for the team. Along with captains, vice-captains are also responsible to take responsibility for the team. Also, in the absence of captains, vice-captains have to lead the team in the matches. Like in every season of IPL, vice-captains will have a big role to play in IPL 2021. Prithvi Shaw will be the weakest vice-captain in IPL 2021 as he has no experience for the role. Moreover, he was also dropped from the team last year in playoffs matches due to his ineffective batting. So. Prithvi Shaw gets a rating of 5 out of 10 as the vice-captain.

5. Jos Buttler (Rajasthan Royals)- Rating: 7
