MI vs KKR: Live Streaming Details- When And Where To Watch Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders Live In Your Country? Mumbai Indians will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the 34th match of Indian Premier League 2021 on Thursday at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. Both teams have played their opening games of the UAE leg.

Mumbai Indians played their first game of the second leg on Sunday against Chennai Super Kings. CSK won the toss and elected to bat first. Trent Boult and Adam Milne gave the defending champions an ideal start with the ball, getting four wickets for just 24 runs in the first six overs.

Rahul Chahar kept it tight in the middle overs but couldn’t pick a wicket as Ruturaj Gaikwad and Jadeja led CSK’s recovery. MI couldn’t pick wickets in the middle phase of the innings and the momentum shifted towards CSK. To add further misery to MI’s ambitions, CSK added 39 runs in the final two overs to lift them to 156 runs at the end of 20 overs. Milne, Boult and Bumrah all three picked two wickets each.

Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya’s absence weakened MI’s batting unit as they failed to chase down the scores. Both the openers Quinton de Kock (17 off 12) and Anmolpreet Sigh (16 off 14) got out after getting good starts. Suryakumar Yadav (3 off 7) and Ishan Kishan ( 11 off 10) also got out cheaply as MI were left reeling at 58 for 4 in 10 overs.

Mumbai Indians needed a good inning from Kieron Pollard to win the game. The West Indies skipper, who has a great record against CSK, however, couldn’t turn up with a match-winning knock this time around. He got out on 15 off 14 balls and with that, all the hopes ended as well. Saurabh Tiwari fought till the end and remained unbeaten on 50 off 40 balls. However, no was little support from the other end. Mumbai Indians have now 4 wins in 8 matches and therefore sitting at fourth position on the points table.

Facing them are Kolkata Knight Riders, who won their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 9 wickets on Monday. Kolkata, arguably, exhibited their best performance of this season in their last game. Prasidh Krishna and Lockie Ferguson bowled a great spell in the powerplay overs, sending both Virat and Padikkal back to the hut inside the first six overs.

Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy left RCB guessing with their turn and guile in the middle overs as RCB kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Andre Russell cleaned up AB de Villiers on his very first delivery and Chakravarthy followed it up with three wickets of Maxwell, Hasaranga and Sachin Baby to broke the back of the Red Army. None of the batsmen stood up for the side and RCB found themselves bundled out for just 92 runs. KKR came into the second innings with a new opening pair in Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer.

The duo didn’t let the opposition come back into the game as they took them on right from the onset. Both Shubman Gill and debutant Venkatesh Iyer ensured the boundaries keep coming at regular intervals and KKR win the match in as few overs as possible. KKR, in the end, chased down the target in just 10 overs.

Gill scored 48 runs off 34 balls, while Iyer scored 41 off 27 balls. With that win, Kolkata Knight Riders have now earned 4 wins in 8 matches and are sitting at the sixth spot on the points table.
