As far as openers are concerned, Rajasthan shouldn’t have to worry a lot. Both Lewis and Jaiswal are in supreme form with the bat. Lewis ripped apart RCB’s bowling line-up in the last game, scoring 58 runs off 37 balls. He hit 5 fours and 3 sixes during his knock. Yashasvi Jaiswal also played equally well for his 37-ball 58, including 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Middle-Order: Sanju Samson, David Miller, Mahipal Lomror

Sanju Samson has enjoyed his best season in IPL this year. He is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 452 runs in 11 matches. He had a rare failure in the last game against RCB, getting out on 19 off 15 balls. Samson would be eager to get back amongst the runs against CSK on Saturday.

Liam Livingstone’s poor form with the bat should make way for Miller in the playing XI. Livingstone now has a string of low scores to his name and he is likely to be replaced with David Miller in the playing XI. Mahipal Lomror made headlines with his 17-ball 43 against Punjab. However, the RR batsman has endured poor numbers since.

All-rounders: Shivam Dube and Rahul Tewatia

Riyan Parag has been one of the biggest flops for RR this season. He has been enduring a torrid and RR would look to replace him with his Shivam Dube in the playing XI.

Rahul Tewatia’s performance this season hasn’t encouraged a lot of optimism either. He scored 2 runs and conceded 23 runs in 3 overs with the ball

Bowlers: Mustafizur Rahman, Chetan Sakariya, Kartik Tyagi and Tabraiz Shamsi

Mustafizur Rahman and Chetan Sakariya have been the best bowlers for RR in the second leg of IPL 2021. Both have been effective with the ball and have picked wickets regularly. Kartik Tyagi made his comeback in the last game against RCB and should be retained for the next game as well.

Rajasthan Royals are also likely to bring World’s best T20 spinner Tabraiz Shamsi in the playing XI. With Morris not in the best of form, he should make way for the South African spinner.
