Mumbai Indians’ leg-spinner Rahul Chahar struck twice in their clash in Delhi against the Rajasthan Royals, who made a brisk start after being put in to bat. Rahul Chahar, who is amongst the highest wicket-takers in IPL 2021, got rid of Jos Buttler, followed by his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal. The 21-year old sent a fiery send-off to Jaiswal as his wicket came two balls after conceding a six.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s dismissal occurred in the 10th over when the left-handed batsman was looking to cut loose. The third delivery of that over saw Jaiswal playing a slog-sweep for six; however, two balls later, he wanted to defend, but managed to get a leading edge that spooned to Rahul Chahar. Chahar expressed his frustration at getting the wicket after conceding a maximum.

The leggie got rid of Jos Buttler earlier as Quinton De Kock affected a stumping. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians, who elected to field first, dropped Ishan Kishan and brought in seam bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile. The defending champions have been inconsistent this year, having lost three out of five matches. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals went ahead with an unchanged side that managed to beat the Kolkata Knight Riders convincingly.
