Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad reached UAE on Monday (August 30) for the second leg of IPL 2021. RCB shared a video on Twitter in which the players narrated their travel stories. Royal Challengers Bangalore is set to play their opening game of IPL 2021 2nd leg on September 20. The team will face Kolkata Knight Riders at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s skipper Virat Kohli is currently leading the national team in the Test series against England in the UK. He will join the squad after the completion of the series. Royal Challengers Bangalore showcased a great performance in the 1st leg. They started their journey with 4 consecutive victories in the first 4 games.

In the video, RCB players like Devdutt Padikkal, KS Bharat, Sachin Baby, Navdeep Saini, among others opened up about their activities during the flight from Bangalore to UAE.

Royal Challengers Bangalore holds 3rd spot in IPL 2021 points table. The Virat Kohli-led side have played 7 matches so far and won 5 of them. RCB defeated Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Rajasthan Royals in their first 4 encounters.

They later lost to Chennai Super Kings by 69 runs to face their first defeat of IPL 2021. Later, they defeated Delhi Capitals by just 1 run in a nail-biting encounter. They also lost their last match of the tournament’s first leg against Punjab Kings by 34 runs.

For the 2nd leg, the franchise has signed Sri Lanka players Wanindu Hasaranaga and Dushmantha Chameera to replace Adam Zampa and Daniel Sams in the squad. In the overseas category, AB de Villiers, Kyle Jamieson, and Glenn Maxwell as some key players in the squad. Royal Challengers Bangalore will play a total of 7 games during the 2nd leg of IPL 2021.
