IPL 2023: 3 Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Players Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Can Target

The IPL 2023 auction will be held in Kochi on December 23 with several players going under the hammer. Each of the 10 teams will by then figure out exactly the players they would want in their respective team.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have started making plans for the mini-auction. In addition to their remaining purse, each team will be given an additional five crores to spend this year. As per a BCCI official, the overall purse will be between 90-95 crores.
The teams have been asked to submit the list of players the franchises are willing to release by November 15 by the BCCI. All the teams are expected to release the list of extra or unused players so that they can go into the IPL 2023 auction looking to fill the gaps.
As per reports in Inside Sport, RCB are expected to release the likes of David Willey, Karn Sharma, and Siddhart Kaul. Willey was roped in for 2 crores while Kaul for 75 lacks. He played just four matches for the franchise scoring 18 runs and picking up just one wicket. Kaul also played just one match where he went wicketless. Karn Sharma was benched for the entire season after RCB bought him for 50 lakhs.

1) Finn Allen
RCB acquired Fin Allen for 80 lakhs after an intense biffing ar with Rajasthan Royals. However, as it turned out, they did not play him in a single match in IPL 2022. Now SRH has a good opportunity to rope him in possibly at a lower price since he is still an unknown commodity in the IPL.
He has played in overseas leagues such as the Abu Dhabi T20 League and in The Hundred for Birmingham Phoenix and Southern Brave. Allen is an attacking opening batsman and SRH might give him a good break in the IPL.

2) David Willey
Willey is another player who can be targeted by Sunrisers Hyderabad. As said above Willey played just four matches for RCB and was picked up for 2 crores in the 2022 mega auction. Willey swings the new ball and has also opened the batting for his domestic club Northampton.
He has previously played for CSK in the IPL for whom he picked up just two wickets in 10 games and picked up just one wicket in 11 games for RCB. The left-hander is flexible to bat anywhere in the batting order which SRH can use to their advantage.
3) Siddharth Kaul / Karn Sharma
Both Siddhart Kaul and Karn Sharma have played for Sunrisers Hyderabad previously in the IPL. Kaul played for SRH between 2018-2021 and featured in 43 games for the franchise. He picked 52 wickets for the franchise averaging 26.92. If SRH feels that they would want to make use of Kaul’s abilities with the ball they can go for him.
Sharma has represented four franchises to date and has played the most games for SRH. He played 46 games for the franchise across a few seasons picking up 36 wickets at an average of 30.81 and an economy of 7.83. Despite picking him for 50 lakhs ahead of IPL 2022, RCB did not give him a game are likely to release him ahead of IPL 2023 auction. Hyderabad can look to rope him once again and make use of his potential
