1. Mumbai Indians (MI)

Mumbai Indians is the first team that can target Adil Rashid in IPL 2023 auction. The five-time IPL champions did not have a powerful spinner in the last season. They have also parted ways with spinner Murugan Ashwin ahead of the upcoming mini-auction.

The Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians side has powerful pacers like Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer in the squad but they do not have a mighty spinner. Hence, Adil Rashid will be a good choice for the team. MI released two leg-spinners Mayank Markande, and Murugan Ashwin after being unimpressed by their performances last season while they have retained their other two spinners – Kumar Kartikeya and Hrithik Shokeen – both of them have little experience.
