Ramandeep Singh scored just 14 runs and picked up six wickets in the five matches that he played for Mumbai Indians last season. He was roped in for 20 lakhs by the franchise. The all-rounder was not able to make an impact in the games that he played for the franchise. He made his List A debut on 5 October 2019 and his debut for Punjab in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Ramandeep has played just two First Class Games so far, 16 List A and 28 T20s. Yet again, his experience as a cricketer might have made the franchise owners think about buying him in the mini-auctions.

Shokeen played five matches and picked up two wickets only in IPL 2022. Despite his lack of performance, the franchise decided to retain him ahead of the IPL 2023 auction. The Delhi cricketer made his List A debut in 2019 and has played 8 list A and 8 T20 games each.

He was named in India U23’s squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. He made his List A debut for India U23, against Nepal, in the Emerging Teams Cup on 14 November 2019. He is still a very young player with limited cricketing experience.

Kartikeya was picked up for 20 lakhs by the franchise. He played four games and picked up five wickets in IPL 2022. A son of a constable cracking an IPL deal with Mumbai Indians became the talking point after he was signed up by the franchise. However, amid the presence of seasoned cricketers, his opportunities were limited.

He made his List A and First-Class debut for Madhya Pradesh in the 2018 season. To date, he has played 13 First-Class, 25 List A, and 18 T20 matches picking 99 wickets in total. He played his last match for Madhya Pradesh in Vijay Hazare Trophy against Baroda.
