Cameron Green, according to former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra, will bring in more than INR 15 crores in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini-auction. The Australian all-stock rounder has risen recently in white-ball cricket as a result of his ability to bat in the top order.

Talent has always been recognized in the IPL, and Cameron Green is already on the radar of numerous organizations. Due to his height, the young bowler can consistently achieve speeds between 135 and 140 kph and can induce bounce.

During a spectacular trip to India in September, Green demonstrated his ability as a powerful opening batter. In just his second T20I appearance, he scored the game-winning 61 off 30 deliveries.

Cameron Green May Even Go Upto 16 Or 16.5 Crore: Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra noted that Green might be auctioned for up to INR 16.5 crore on his YouTube channel:

“Consider Cameron Green at 15 crores now itself. It may even go upto 16 or 16.5 crore as well. GT already have a full team, so they can go all out for him, that is a possibility.”

Green would rank among the most expensive players ever sold at the IPL auction if his bidding war exceeded the INR 15 crore threshold.

If GT Gets Cameron Green, He Will Open As Well As Be A Fast Bowling Option: Aakash Chopra

The defending champion Gujarat Titans (GT) have made just minor adjustments to their successful team, with the biggest departures being Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who have joined the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

They are not under any pressure to significantly expand their team as a result.

Chopra noted that if GT is successful in securing Green’s services for IPL 2023, they will be able to accomplish two goals at once.

“GT traded Lockie Ferguson, so I feel that they will need another fast bowler. And with Rahmanullah Gurbaz gone, they should also look for an opening batter.”

Chopra added:

“With the money GT have, if they get Cameron Green, he will open as well as be a fast bowling option.”
