Rajasthan Royals are all set for IPL 2023. RR is the first champion of Indian Premier League. RR won the debut edition of IPL in 2008. However, they never managed to win any season post that season.

During IPL 2023 auction, Rajasthan Royals bought 9 players in their squad. Their costliest buy was Jason Holder for Rs. 5.75 crores. PBKS also bought Adam Zampa and Joe Root for Rs. 1.5 crore and Rs. 1 crore respectively.
Sanju Samson is the skipper of RR in IPL 2023. Some prominent batters for the team are Shimron Hetmyer, Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler. Some key bowlers for the team are Prasidh Krishna, Trent Boult, and Yuzvendra Chahal. Ravichandran Ashwin and Jason Holder will be crucial all-rounders for the team in IPL 2023.
