Cameron Green is a powerful batting all-rounder and has impressed with his performance for the Australian national cricket team in the shortest format. Cameron Green has no experience in IPL so far. IPL 2023 is his debut IPL tournament and he will be a newcomer to the tournament. Hence, Green is unaccustomed to the kind the pressure the IPL has.

Hence, he might find it hard to adjust to the tournament in his debut season and cannot impress with his performance. Hence, Green’s zero IPL experience can affect his performance in IPL 2023.

2. Poor Batting Show in T20Is So Far

If we take a glance at Cameron Green’s performance in T20Is so far, he has played just 8 T20I games for Australia. He has scored 139 runs in those games. Although he has a high strike rate of 173+ in 8 T20Is so far, he has failed to score good knocks in many games.

The right-handed batsman has scored 118 runs in 3 games against India. However, he got out for single digits in other matches. Hence, he fails to come up with a good knock most of the time. If he repeats that in IPL 2023, he will emerge as a flop show in the tournament.

1. Ineffective Bowling Attack

Cameron Green is a batting all-rounder and hence he will also bowl some overs for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023. In 8 T20I games so far, he has picked 5 wickets at an average of 35.60 and an economy of 8.90. While playing a T20I series against India this year, he registered an economy rate of 10.0.

Green is not a powerful medium pacer and opposition batters will try to target him during matches. Hence, if Green emerges as too expensive in IPL 2023, he will be looked upon as a flop bowler in the tournament.
