IPL Final: Watch- 'Angry' MS Dhoni Refuses An Autograph Request From Deepak Chahar, Seems Visibly Upset Over Shubman Gill's Dropped Catch

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni led the team to the fifth IPL title by defeating Gujarat Titans in the final on Sunday. CSK needed 15 to win off the final over which came down to 10 off the last two balls. Ravindra Jadeja hit a six and a four to finish off the game for Chennai.

CSK have now equalled Mumbai Indians as the most successful IPL franchise with five titles to their game. MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma are now the most successful IPL cap[tains with five titles each to their name.

The IPL 2023 final potentially played for three days came down to the final ball as Gujarat Titans came second. Mohit Sharma who had such a great tournament could not finish the job for his side as GT came second on the night. Rain played spoilsport with the final being shifted to the reserve day (May 29) after it rained throughout the night on April 28 denying any possibility of the final.

MS Dhoni on his 250th game for CSK was out for a first-ball duck. GT scored a mammoth 214/4 in their 20 overs. Rain played spoilsport in the mid-innings with CSK’s target revised to 171 from 15 overs. Devon Conway (47) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (26) added 74 for the first wicket inside 7 overs.
