Veteran Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal predicted the Orange Cap and Purple Cap winners for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Yuzvendra Chahal snubbed Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill while naming the highest run-getter in the IPL 2024.
Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket-taker in the history of the T20 tournament. The right-arm spinner has taken 187 wickets in 145 games at an impressive average of 21.69 and an economy rate of 7.67. He won the Purple Cap for the most wickets in the IPL in 2022.

In a video on his YouTube channel ‘JokerKiHaveli,’ Esports streamer Gulrez Khan questioned Yuzvendra Chahal about the highest run scorer in the upcoming IPL 2024 season. Chahal selected two of his Rajasthan Royals teammates to win the Orange Cap this year.
The 33-year-old cricketer predicted that either Yashasvi Jaiswal or Jos Buttler would clinch the Orange Cap in IPL 2024. Buttler, England’s white-ball captain, won the Orange Cap in the IPL 2022 season when the Jaipur-based franchise reached the final match.
In the 2022 season of the cash-rich league, Buttler scored 863 runs in 17 matches for the Rajasthan Royals. Jaiswal showcased exceptional form during IPL 2023, scoring 624 runs in 14 matches, setting a record for the most runs by an uncapped batter in an IPL season.

Yuzvendra Chahal Picks Purple Cap Winner For IPL 2024
In the same video, Gulrez Khan questioned Yuzvendra Chahal about who would secure the most wickets. Chahal expressed his determination to claim the highest number of wickets in the tournament. He said that Rashid Khan would be the second-highest wicket-taker.
Afghan spinner Rashid Khan is set to play for the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024. In the previous IPL season, the 25-year-old leg-spinner claimed an impressive 27 wickets in 17 games. The Ahmedabad-based franchise finished as runner-up in the last edition of the league.
Rajasthan Royals Set To Kick Off Their IPL 2024 Campaign On March 24
The inaugural champions will commence their IPL 2024 journey at home against the Lucknow Super Giants on March 24. They will face the Delhi Capitals on March 28 before taking on the five-time champions, the Mumbai Indians, at the Wankhede Stadium on April 1.
The Sanju Samson-led side will return to Jaipur for their third home match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
