Indian T20I captain Rohit Sharma has become the second batsman in the history of the T20 Internationals cricket to smash 150 sixes.

Newly appointed T20 Internationals captain of India Rohit Sharma is having a great run in cricket. Since becoming full-time T20I captain he has looked in great form with bat and has led India towards two consecutive T20I victories over New Zealand at home to win the series.

India won the first T20I game by 5 wickets on Wednesday, November 17 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and they won the second T20I by 7 wickets at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Friday, November 19.

Talking about his performance with the bat he smashed 48 runs in the first T20I at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and 55 runs in the 2nd T20I at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.

Meanwhile, in the third T20I against New Zealand at Eden Gardens, Kolkata Rohit Sharma won the third consecutive toss of the T20I series and this time opted to bat first as he wanted the team to face the challenge of batting first.

Also, India made notable changes in the Playing XI as KL Rahul and Ravichandran Ashwin were rested and Ishan Kishan and Yuzvendra Chahal made a comeback in the team.

Meanwhile, opening the innings Rohit Sharma looked sensational and was able to play an amazing knock of 56 runs off 31 balls including 5 fours and 3 maximum before getting dismissed by leg-spinner Ish Sodhi in the 12th over.

During this innings, Rohit Sharma smashed two maximums off Lockie Ferguson and one six to Trent Boult to complete the milestone of 150 T20I sixes.

Overall Rohit Sharma has played 119 T20Is for India and has scored 3197 runs at an average of 33.30 and a strike rate of 140.28 including 150 sixes and 284 fours.

Meanwhile, Martin Guptill sits at the top of the list with 161 T20I sixes under his belt and he will have an opportunity to increase this number when New Zealand comes out to bat in the second innings. The third batsman in the list of most T20I sixes is T20 legend Chris Gayle with 124 maximums. Eoin Morgan and Aaron Finch are next on the list with 119 and 113 sixes respectively.
